What a lovely story! And to think I was excited when we saved a little owl last summer ;)

Today I saved a Cooper Hawk that hit my home window, it made a very loud Bang….scarred and in major tears I knew I couldnt let it die not in my watch or in my backyard!!! When it came to it lifted its head looking right at me very frightened used its wings to drag itself away, I gathered an ever so present box that I for some reason never got rid of (now I know why) and two beach towels and for some strange reason it seemed to know what I was there for and scooted right into the box. I turned it over and it immediately relaxed in my hand looking straight into my eyes still fearful and hurting im sure, I cried all the way to the Native Animal Rescue and prayed and asked my guides to guide us both into safety before it was too late. I talked to the Hawk, which I named “Cooper” and he closed his eyes but continued to breath, I made there and an 80 year old Indian woman calmed me and they gave Cooper a steroid shot and said he looked ok but still pretty limp in the legs. I am very grateful to have been there at that time to save him, instead of arriving later to see a dead ENDANGERED species in my back yard!!! I feel at peace and very calm. The Hawk is a messenger and there is so many meanings behind our being there to save them. Some of the most respected animals in the kingdom!! I share your feelings, Im very thankful.
