My brother and I would catch snakes and toads and frogs and the like. My Mom was always super cool and let us play with them and keep them for awhile. At one point we rescued baby ducks! I look back on my childhood and I had such a great time being homeschooled and being home all of the time.

casual friday everydays last blog post..<a href="http://casualfridayeveryday.com/2008/08/21/hes-getting-ready/" rel="nofollow">He’s Getting Ready</a>

Not in the house, no. We have a catch and release program here. For now.

I do love snakes, always have. I caught them as a girl and fully support the boys' snake catching endeavors. My husband doesn't get it, which is kind of funny. Don't all boys like creepy crawlies?
