I think that it might help to keep your “eyes on the prize.” Now, at the beginning, when all things are fresh, why not write about what you hope the ending (of homeschooling) will produce. Save it to refer to on rough days.

You might remember that I’m a public school teacher who is an advocate for homeschooling.

I was told early in my career “Never quit on a bad day.” So, there were days when my husband would ask how it went that I would say, “I can’t quit today!”

THANK YOU! I needed this. I am a first-time homeschooing mama to three children, two of which were public-schooled. I know what it is like to NOT homeschool and I have to remind myself every day why my husband and I decided to not send them back to school.
