Lewis allegory's I've ever read. It's worth reading with one eye shut just to see what everyone else is talking about. I know friends who say it has changed their lives. I just smile and say "that's great!" I truly am glad about that. It's an ok story. As Heather said, pretty bad story telling. I cringed about 100 times reading it, BUT, it is helping a lot of people for some reason. There's horrible writing. I wouldn't have gotten past the first couple pages if I hadn't promised to read it for a friend. There's some bad storytelling (it glosses over the fact that the main character killed his father). However, I think it does what it intended to do: show God's love to a hurting man in extraordinary ways and challenge that man to forgive and be forgiven.
