Spam this blog

We bloggers hate spam. You know, all those comments that are just ads for gross websites or links to lure you to junk. Ick. Spam is nasty.

But here’s what I’m thinking…

I want you to spam this blog.

Maybe you are a regular commenter to this blog with a good following of your own…

Or a newbie trying to build an audience…

I want you to drop your link in the comments with a explanation of who you are, what’s on your heart or what’s coming out of your head.

Tell us: What’s your blog about?

I want to add you to my Google Reader.

Ready?

This should be fun…

Go!

  1. Wow, Monica! What a great idea. I’ve been wanting to find ways to reach out to other bloggers but am feeling pulled in so many directions and just don’t seem to have the time it requires. I started my blog after my 3rd pregnancy to begin a writing habit and to help in transitioning from the traditional workforce to being at home, pursuing a writing career. It’s been a great adventure.

  2. That’s great, Mary, I think a bunch of the “mommyblogger” crowd started blogging with the intention of getting into some sort of writing career. Keep writing at your blog and don’t worry if you can’t post everyday, do the best you can.

  3. hi monica, i began blogging with my sister last fall – we have a private one for now for our families all over the world to connect and see pictures. i love to read blogs and generally spend WAY too much time on the internet. i started homschooling my three children last summer, so a good bit of what i spend my time on is related to homeschooling and the like… i enjoy seeing the update number next to your blog in my bloglines!

  4. Joy, you write like you talk and it CRACKS ME UP. I wish you would write more or at least get more pictures up.

Amy, I understand the desire to be private, that’s one of the reasons I don’t use my kids’ real names here. If you ever do go public, please let me know. I’d love to follow your homeschooling journey.

  5. Hi Monica–it’s Monica! I just love reading your blog. You seem to be very balanced and you make me think. I like that. I began blogging as a way to keep in touch with family and friends in the states. We’re an Army family stationed in Germany and my husband is deployed right now. Actually, he blogs too and blogging seemed like a fun hobby for us to share. I enjoy writing about our life and a variety of other topics.

  10. Hey Monica! I stumbled across your blog via the CWO BlogRoll, and I think this is a marvelous idea!

I have to be honest and say I’m not a “faithful” blogger, and I post about whatever is on heart at a given time or whatever is tumbling around in my head. There’s really no one theme.

As a newlywed, I’m adjusting to married life, adjusting to life in a new city, the woes of a small apartment and a small budget…just stuff. I try to live life honesty, and I try to write about my life honestly. I don’t know how interesting it is, but it’s the only life I have. :P

  11. Hi Monica, What a great idea! I love reading your blog.
I started blogging at the urging of a dear friend from college, (she’s a real published author) and I haven’t looked back. I love the creative process and it “feeds my head” and enables me to meet a lot of other women and get their perspective. Basically, I write about my faith, life, keeping positive, my kids, and occasionally politics. Here’s a link for one I wrote about homeschooling. http://matriarch216.vox.com/library/post/strewing-their-paths-with-knowledge.htmlHave a great day! Pam
