Don’t you love a good surprise? I do. I especially love it when the one being surprised is overwhelmed with tears of joy.

So sweet – you know – that reminds me, no one has ever thrown me a surprise party.
That was such a nice surprise. I have never been surprised. The closest was my baby shower, but someone spoiled it a couple days before.
I especially like your son asking “NOW can I go on the ice?” Hee hee! What an awesome day – thanks for posting this.

Sweet! This is one of special memories that warms your heart on dreary days. Any time I feel down in the dumps, I look back on my 40th Birthday when my friends/sisters flew in from all over the country to celebrate. It was too complicated since we were hosting travelers for it to be a surprise, but it was surprisingly touching!
