Captured! Little anole lizard meets little hands

By Monica Brand, 21 May, 2009, 2 Comments

First of all – I’m glad I’ve enough sense to be wearing nail polish. If I’m going to show my feet to the Internet, I want my toes to look presentable.

We keep calling this little lizard a gecko, but I think it’s a Green Anole. New Jersey is too cold for these little ones in the wild, so it’s a fun treat to find them in Florida. This video was taken at Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park.

Enjoy!

Great video! We used to see those all the time when I went to FL when my grandmother lived there – many years ago before I had children!

When you get back send me your email & I’ll give you an invite to my new blogger blog which I’ll be keeping for pics/videos & stuff.

    Enjoy your trip!

How much fun. My husband told me about these guys. He used to live down there and would find them everywhere.
