I searched for Tipping Point at my local bookstore...but since they didn't have it, I walked out with Blink instead. Haven't started reading yet. Hope you enjoy them all!

I just finished up Ted Dekker's second Book, Red, in the Circle trilogy and I really liked it. It took me a long time to get into Black, but once I did I thought it was a great read.

This is what I do: I borrow first. If I love it - like I know I'm going to want to reread, mark it all up with highlights, lend it to friends - then I will buy. I will be buying Liz's book. Eventually.

I'm loving that little dialogue at the end. I often feel guilty--and then unguilty--at how little I support the book industry (and how much I support my local library!)

And I am so totally NOT laughing at the Pro-blogger book. I read "beyond my means" all the time--why not? That's the luxury of books. You don't have to be a professional, or even an aspiring professional to use a book to better your life (or even just explore somebody else's life).

I'm the same way, Jen. I wouldn't read me either until I'd formed my own opinion.

Ha!

I'm not going to peek at your previous post about Elizabeth Gilbert, because I'm about to dip in on my own, and I don't want to spoil it. I like to be "fresh." But I'm looking forward to it.

And let me know when those 6 figures start rolling in, okay?
