I think reading is one of those things that gets priority if you love it - no matter what your busy schedule (just like anything else getting priority, whatever you enjoy). I do not have a crazy busy life, am mother to a non-stop one and half year old daughter. I've never been busier since becoming a mother.....but I do love to read and try to find time to do that (I do this when she goes to bed, I read). I also love Christian auto/biographies and have read so many that really encourage me in my walk with Jesus. I love to read/learn how God brings people to Himself. I have lots (biographies) I could recommend! This was my first time "blogging" - ever! Thanks.

My best "get it read" tactic is to put the book (or Success magazine) in the bathroom. ou'd be surprised how much reading you can accomplish with each visit.

Plus I commit to 30 minutes a day. After all "man cannot live by bread alone..."

I'm really struggling with this right now, too (especially since LOST is back). I've been staying up an extra half hour to read at night. Not easy with the droopy eyes and all, but I have to get what I can!

The homeschooling is tough. I read a lot more now than I did a couple of years ago, for a lot of reasons.

I sort of binge read on the weekends. I don't stay up too late at night, and my days usually get away with me.

I also read some during the day if I sort of make myself (Make myself get off the computer and make myself not watch mindless TV).

And my husband is a sports nut, so I can read while he roots.

I just saw you were going to book blogger con. Me too! Fun.

Lost - what can I say? Other than no TV show will ever ever compare and I will likely still be watching it on Hulu when I'm old and gray. ;-)

Books - I'm a read when I can girl. Snippets of pages while I cook, in the van when I'm waiting at school, on the side of the pool during swim lessons.

And of course, far too late at night when I should be getting a few hours of sleep.

It takes a good book to hold me these days and once it has me, I race through i. I finished Committed (yup) in about two days and now I've got S. King's latest backbreaker (has to be 1000 pp) that I'm devouring.

Anyhow, it's like any other obsession - you make time for it one way or another. ;-)

We need some snow pictures from your neck of the woods!

First of all, LOST...yep, we're all flat-out freakin' insane! I cannot believe we're still following that ridiculously addicting, way coolie show!!

As for finding time to read, I think it's like anything else you really want to do--it has to become priority at some point in time. For me, tis a no-brainer, I simply MUST read...I kid you not. It's Momma's happy, ya know?
I don't have a 'set' time in the day that I read, but if I needed to carve out time, that's exactly what I would do.

Isn't it wonderful to have such a full life?!?

LOST is crazy. I want answers! I can't wait for the end, I never want it to be over. Only those of us insane enough to follow these misfit castaways understand, no?

I feel sorry for those attempting to join in for the first time now. teehee

Audiobooks. And today I read a bit of a novel in a particularly long drive-thru line. :)

Also, LOST is like reading a really, really good book, don'tcha think?
